Join Our Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Elevate Patient Care
Are you a dedicated and experienced CRNA seeking a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic healthcare environment? We are looking for skilled CRNAs to provide exceptional anesthesia services across multiple facilities within a vibrant medical community. This role offers the chance to work with a large, collaborative department committed to delivering high-quality patient care in diverse surgical settings.
Position Details:
- Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Start Date: Flexible, beginning April 13, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour days (08:00 - 17:00)
- Hourly Pay Rate: $241.80 (ALL INCLUSIVE of travel reimbursements)
- Facility Types: Hospital Medical Center and Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs)
- Work Environment: Support staff includes anesthesia techs; patient volume approximately 150 anesthetics daily across various departments including OR, IR, Cath Lab, EP, OB, MRI, and more
- Patient Demographics: Adults ranging from 18 to Geriatric; limited pediatric cases (pediatric cases generally excluded from traveler positions)
- Practice Model: Large department with 70 CRNAs, 15 anesthesiologists, providing anesthesia for GYN, ortho, urology, vascular, and other specialties
- EMR System: Epic (Highly Preferred)
- Equipment: Glidescopes, Alaris IV pumps, Draeger anesthesia machines
Key Skills & Certifications:
- Board Certified CRNA
- Valid State License (acceptable as compact license)
- DEA certification
- Certifications Preferred: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
Additional Details:
- Travel & Rotation: Candidates must rotate through Lexington, Irmo, and Northeast Columbia ASCs, approximately once per week, with some weeks requiring two visits. Flexibility to travel to different surgery centers is essential.
- Credentialing: 60-90 days
- Experience with Epic EMR and anesthesia equipment is highly preferred.
- No regional or nerve block skills required.
- Willingness to obtain licensing and certifications as needed.
