Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy assistant services under supervision to clients.
Assess client needs and document progress in medical records.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
Adhere to safety protocols and ethical standards in care delivery.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to adjust treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based treatment interventions as prescribed.
Monitor patient responses and report changes to supervising OT.
Contribute to achievement of departmental targets and performance metrics.
Engage in ongoing professional development to advance clinical skills.
Educate patients and families about therapy goals and home programs.
Utilize treatment pipelines to prioritize and plan client caseload.
Support a collaborative, growth-oriented work environment.
Experience/Qualifications
Licensed or eligible OT Assistant with current state certification.
Provide OT assistant services under OT supervision, documenting progress daily.
Accurate, timely, and compliant medical records documentation.
Follow safety protocols, ethical standards, and patient privacy regulations.
Implement evidence-based interventions as prescribed by supervising OT.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to adjust treatment plans.
