Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Rehab / Long-Term Care

Location: Newark, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (5x8 hours, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care in a Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The CNA will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor patient conditions, and support the healthcare team to ensure quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
• Support ambulation, transfers, and repositioning of patients
• Provide skin care, oral care, and hygiene assistance
• Assist with incontinence care and catheter care

Clinical Support

• Obtain and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respirations, pulse oximetry)
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with specimen collection and documentation
• Support infection control and isolation precautions

Mobility & Equipment

• Safely use equipment such as Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, transfer belts, and specialty beds
• Assist with range of motion exercises and positioning
• Maintain proper body mechanics during patient handling

Requirements:

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience required

Certifications

• Active CNA certification required
