Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long-Term Care (LTC)

Location: Skowhegan, ME 04976
Pay Rate: $15.00 – $22.00 per hour
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Schedule: 3–5 Days per Week
Shift Type: Day / Evening / Night
Shift Length: 8–12 Hours (Variable Timing)


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide high-quality care in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support residents in maintaining their comfort, safety, and dignity while following individualized care plans.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Provide mobility assistance such as transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
  • Monitor and record vital signs; report any changes to nursing staff
  • Assist with feeding and hydration; track intake and output
  • Ensure resident comfort, dignity, and safety at all times
  • Follow infection control protocols and proper hygiene practices
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident environments
  • Accurately document care provided and observations
  • Collaborate with nurses and healthcare team to implement care plans

Required Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Licensure & Certification

  • Active CNA License (State of Maine) – Required
  • BLS Certification (AHA) – Required

Experience

  • New graduates are welcome – training and support provided
  • Prior CNA or patient care experience preferred
  • Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care preferred
