Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Albuquerque, NM 87111
Job Type: Contract / Full-Time
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Schedule: 3 Days per Week
Shift Options: Day or Night (12-hour shifts)

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a long-term care and rehabilitation team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care while supporting residents’ comfort, dignity, and overall well-being. You will work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure high-quality care aligned with individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility support, including transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
• Monitor and record vital signs; promptly report changes to nursing staff
• Assist with feeding, hydration, and tracking intake/output
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Follow infection control and hygiene protocols at all times
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Accurately document care provided and observations
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to implement care plans

Required Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Licensure / Certification:

• Active CNA License (State of New Mexico) – Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AHA) – Required

Experience:

• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Prior CNA or patient care experience preferred
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings preferred
