Unit description: We are a General Medical Surgical unit within our Forsyth Medical Center. On this unit you will care for patients coming to us post PACU with gastrointestinal issues, hepatobiliary surgeries, pancreatitis, ostomies, vascular surgeries (BKA, DVT and cellulitis) and orthopedic overflow surgeries.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: 1 year of experience, preferred. 
• Licensure/Certification: Completion of NA I and NA II programs, required. NA registry as NA I in good standing. Current NA II certification with state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. 
• Additional Skills (required): BON Health Care Provider. Medication Safety - AME.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
