Your day as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Evenings

As a Full Time Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for evening shifts at Sunny Ridge in Nampa, your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing compassionate care to patients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will monitor vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff, ensuring that all care is delivered with empathy and integrity. Training

• On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience

What do we ask from you?

Requirements

• Current CNA certification
• Effective communication with coworkers and residents
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care

Job Duties

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable

Skilled nursing facilities provide care for geriatric patients who require 24/7 care

Must be able to pass a background check.
