Certified Medical Assistant
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Location: Onsite

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join a busy clinical team. This position works under direct supervision and supports physicians and clinicians with patient care and clinic operations. The ideal candidate promotes efficient patient flow, delivers quality patient care, and maintains a professional and organized clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment areas
• Record patient data prior to each visit including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication updates
• Obtain and organize required patient records before treatment or procedures
• Prepare and stock exam and treatment rooms and order supplies as needed
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures
• Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections as delegated by RN or physician
• Maintain proper disinfection protocols for exam and treatment rooms
• Answer patient phone calls and route to physician, nurse, or pharmacist as appropriate
• Call in prescriptions and make patient calls as directed
• Inform physician of patient reschedules and no shows
• Perform administrative duties including typing, filing, faxing, chart preparation, and reception support
• Enter orders under provider direction and supervision

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CCMA or CMA certification required
• Certificate of graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant
• Current BCLS certification required
