Certified Medical Assistant - Thoracic Clinic

**Up to $7,500 signing bonus (for qualifying candidates)**

Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5p

Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population. • Education

  • High School Diploma or GED – Required
  • Medical Assistant Certification – Required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
  • • Candidates must provide proof of current certification from one of the following approved registries:
    • • CMA – American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
      • CCMA – National Health Career Association (NHA)
      • RMA – American Medical Technologists (AMT)
      • American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA)
      • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
      • National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
      • American Allied Health (AAH)
      • RMA – American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
  • If not currently certified, the candidate must:
  • • Obtain certification or registration by the end of the 6th month of hire
    • Sign an education agreement

   

  Experience

  • Previous medical office experience – Preferred
