Certified Medical Assistant

West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a Medical Assistant to be out in the field!

Must be willing to drive within the Redlands/Moreno Valley, CA area

The Field MA is responsible for administering ultrasound therapy to patients in their respective homes 5 days a week, as well as materials management, scribing, performing chart checks, and coordinating skin sweeps one day per week. Responsible for obtaining data/metrics to facilitate our financial analysis of hiring for expansion and growth.

Essential Job Functions

· Perform ultrasound therapy on wound patients.

· Order medical supplies.

· Scribe for respective doctors.

· Prepare patients for procedures.

· Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients.

· Coordinate skin sweep scheduling.

· Scribe for skin sweeps.

· Make Initial Assessment calls.

Qualifications

· Valid MA Certification

· 1-2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred

· Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills

· Strong awareness of medical terminology

· Strong desire for patient care

Schedule : M- F 8am-5pm
 

Pay Structure (1099):

• Guaranteed base pay of $810 per week

• Base is calculated at $27/patient visit for a minimum of 6 patients per day

• $27 per additional patient visit for any visits beyond the daily base
