Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm
What You Will Do:- Lead the Prior Authorization process by serving as the primary expert in securing insurance approvals for medications and procedures, ensuring patients receive their treatments without delay.
- Support clinical outcomes by assisting providers with patient examinations and procedures, providing a high level of hands-on care and sterile environment management.
- Orchestrate the patient intake journey by capturing accurate vital signs and health histories to ensure the provider is fully prepared for every encounter.
- Document the care experience by transcribing physician encounters and orders in real-time to maintain flawless records and accurate follow-up instructions.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Medical Assistant specializing in Registered obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Certified Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
CMA, experience with prior authorizations preferred, especially medication (CoverMyMeds) and Cardiology PAs
