Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Duration: 13 weeks (Temp-to-Perm)

Schedule:
Monday–Friday
40 hours per week
Work hours vary between 6:45 AM – 6:00 PM, with extended hours on Tuesdays until 8:00 PM
Schedule released one week in advance
Position Overview
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will support physicians and the practice manager in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role requires a candidate who can contribute immediately with minimal training and who is committed to transitioning into a permanent role with Penn Medicine.
This is a Temp-to-Perm position. Only candidates interested in permanent employment will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians and practice manager with daily clinical operations
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Perform patient interviews and clinical/technical tasks
Communicate effectively with patients and families
Maintain a strong patient and customer service focus
Support operational, financial, and patient satisfaction goals
Remain on-site until the physician has completed all patient appointments for the day (flexibility required)
Schedule & Flexibility Requirements
Must be able to stay beyond scheduled end time if needed to complete patient care
Shift adjustments provided if working more than 8 hours in a day
Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (required)
Prior experience requiring minimal training preferred
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Ability to commute to Berwyn, PA within 30 minutes or less (traffic considered)
Pay & Benefits (Upon Permanent Conversion)
Full-time Penn Medicine CMA pay: approximately $*/hour
Temp pay rate should be close to the full-time rate to support conversion
