What You Will Do:- Collaborate with the provider team to execute patient care plans, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience during examinations and treatments.
- Gather essential patient health information, including history and vital signs, to provide the provider with accurate data critical for diagnosis and care decisions.
- Document all provider-patient encounters, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and orders (including labs and prescriptions) to maintain complete, compliant, and high-quality electronic health records.
- Maintain a safe and prepared care environment by stocking and organizing treatment rooms and managing material inventory to optimize the daily operational flow of the clinic.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Healthcare Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Registry of Medical Assistants also accepted.
- Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education OR experience, if applicable.
