Position Highlights:

- Hours: Monday-Friday; Shifts vary between 7:30-5:00pm

What You’ll Do
Deliver an Exceptional Patient Experience
- Greet patients warmly and guide them through registration and scheduling
- Measure and document vital signs and health histories
- Ensure every patient feels comfortable, informed, and cared for
Support Clinical Excellence
- Assist physicians during exams, minor procedures, dressing changes, and first aid
- Support immunizations and injections (for Certified Medical Assistants)
- Perform onsite lab testing including EKGs, pulmonary function tests, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests
Coordinate Care Efficiently
- Manage prescription refill requests and pharmacy communications
- Process provider orders and maintain accurate patient charting
- Support documentation, filing, and compliance standards
Create a Welcoming Environment
- Maintain clean, safe, and inviting examination rooms

Additional Details

- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required
- Several of our clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, require active medical assistant certification through one of the following:
- American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire required
- May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
- Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43-23.63 for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is $22.97-24.57, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
