Rezult Group is dedicated to enhancing patient care through innovative technology services nationwide. We are seeking a qualified Certified Medical Assistant for a contract opportunity with an exceptional Occupational Healthcare company in Boulder, CO
· Contract Length: 13 weeks
· Start date: ASAP
· Pay Rate Range: $25 - $26 an hour
· Schedule: DAYS Monday through Friday 8 am 5 pm
· Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision / Weekly Pay
Job Description:
· Interviews patients, measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height) and records information on patient health records
· Prepares treatment rooms and patients for examination, cleans and sterilizes instruments
· Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials
· Medication administration including injections, performs laboratory tests, operates EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations
· Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies
· Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
· 3 5 years of CMA experience in primary care or urgent care setting.
· Current BLS or CPR certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
· CMA certification required from the American Association of Medical Assistants, the National Center of Competency Testing, the National Certification Medical Association, American Medical Technologists
· Must have strong phlebotomy/venipuncture skills required
· Experience with POC testing preferred
· Experience with Epic preferred
· Epic EMR experience preferred.
