Job Details

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) works closely with licensed providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced community clinic setting. This role supports both clinical and administrative functions to ensure efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform basic patient assessments, including vital signs and infection control procedures
  • Assist with patient care for adults, geriatric patients, and occasionally pediatric populations
  • Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory procedures
  • Assist with EKGs and other clinical procedures as directed
  • Interpret for patients and staff as applicable
  • Monitor and order medical supplies under provider or clinic leadership guidance
  • Participate in community outreach events or health fairs (3–4 times per year)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Medical Technical School graduate preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and CPR certification required
  • 6 months to 1 year of healthcare or clinical experience
  • Proficiency in phlebotomy and basic lab procedures
  • Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA standards
  • Pediatrics experience preferred (but not required)
  • Valid Georgia driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Bilingual/foreign language skills a plus
