We are hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for a medical office in the Headland, AL area. This position requires a valid CMA certification and prior experience in a medical office setting. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent patient care and support to providers.
Schedule: Monday–Friday with rotating shifts of 6:45 AM–4:15 PM and 7:30 AM–5:00 PM; Fridays end at 1:00 PM.
Pay: $16–$17/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including taking vital signs, drawing blood, administering medications and injections
- Assist physicians with exams, procedures, and basic clinical duties (willing to learn X-ray equipment)
- Room patients, manage patient flow, and maintain accurate and confidential medical records
- Verify insurance information, collect payments and co-pays, and update patient data
- Support daily office operations while ensuring quality patient care and efficiency
