Tenet Healthcare and The Hospitals of Providence System are seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join our growing anesthesia care team in El Paso, TX. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, motivated professional who values clinical excellence and enjoys working in a supportive, team-based environment.
As a CAA, you will work under the medical direction of anesthesiologists to deliver high-quality anesthesia care to patients across a wide variety of surgical specialties.

- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and prepare patients for anesthesia.
- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care as part of the anesthesia care team.
- Monitor patients throughout anesthesia and post-anesthesia recovery, adjusting anesthetic levels as needed.
- Manage airway and ventilation using advanced techniques and equipment.
- Assist in life support measures, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Document all aspects of anesthesia care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in call rotation, with additional compensation for call coverage.
- Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) program.
- Certified or eligible for certification by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA).
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Anesthesiologist Assistant in the state of Texas.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills.
