Our client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Substance Abuse Counselor in Newark, NJ
Compensation negotiable up to $31 per hour.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
The population in which the Candidate would be working with is Drug and Alcohol/Adolescents.
The facility type is a Residential and Adult Outpatient Facility.
* Carry a caseload of no more than 12 clients
* One Individual Counseling Session per client per week (1 hour per session)
* One Family Contact per week per client for approximately 15 minutes by phone
* One Family Counseling Session per month(1 hour per session)
* Seven hours per week of group counseling
* Attend weekly team meetings

CLIENT'S SCHEDULE FOR THE OPPORTUNITY
* Up to 40 Hours per week

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Must have either CADC OR LCADC
* TB, Physical, MMR Titers or Vaccination Record
* Background Check
* Must meet the requirement
* Must have experience with adolescent population(Preferred)
* Must have experience working with the drug and alcohol population
