families? Renewal Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a Center Assistant to join
our team in Reedsburg. This key role is perfect for someone who would
like to help shape bright futures by providing developmentally
appropriate activities based on the child's learning needs following
the Frogstreet Curriculum. The position provides consistent weekday
hours with occasional scheduled evening events. Key Responsibilities:
Work as a team with the Teacher to create a safe, nurturing environment
where young children can play and learn. Assists the Teacher in
preparing and setting up high quality, positive learning activities
using the Frogstreet Curriculum. Assists Teacher in maintaining
compliance with performance standards and state licensing codes.
Maintains center cleanliness and other housekeeping tasks as designated
by the Teacher and follows all policies and procedures relating to
universal precautions and blood-borne pathogens. In the absence of the
Teacher/Teacher Assistant, the Center Assistant assumes the duties and
responsibilities of the Teacher Assistant. * OTHER EXPERIENCE
AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications: Required: -Completion of the
Introduction to the Child Care Profession Course or agreement to
complete this course within 6 months of hire. Preferred: -1+ year of
experience in Early Childhood Education or childcare. -Completion of the
Skills and Strategies Course for Child Care Teachers. -Experience in a
licensed daycare setting. -Strong communication, organization, and
teamwork skills. -Compassionate and nurturing skills in working with
