Equipment, freight, and schedule

Primary responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations, state laws, and company policies.
  • Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries, maintaining on-time performance across assigned routes.
  • Maintain accurate ELD logs, trip reports, and DVIRs; perform and document daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Secure freight in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
  • Report incidents, mechanical issues, and delays to dispatch in a timely manner.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic care of assigned equipment.
  • Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and other personnel as required.
