Are you a disciplined, experienced Class A driver looking for a high-earning 1099 position with a steady, local-ish route? GBR Transport is seeking a professional Pneumatic Tanker Driver to haul fly ash and lime throughout the DFW Metroplex and across Texas (Austin, Houston, San Antonio).
If you are a "hunter" who stays with the truck and takes pride in your equipment, we have the lanes to keep you busy and your paycheck growing.
The Earnings & Equipment
- Top Pay: Earn 30% - 31% of the truck's gross revenue.
- High Volume: The truck averages $6,000 - $7,000 in weekly gross—put $1,800 to $2,100+ in your pocket weekly.
- Equipment: Operating a pneumatic tanker (fly ash/lime).
- Location: Truck is based in Alvarado, TX. Maintenance/Inspections in Granbury.
What You’ll Do
- Regional Hauling: Manage fly ash lanes across the DFW Metroplex, with occasional runs to Houston, San Antonio, and Austin.
- Pneumatic Operations: Safely operate pneumatic equipment to load and unload bulk materials.
- Safety First: Maintain a clean-shaven appearance for safety fit-tests and strictly follow DOT guidelines.
Strict Qualifications (Insurance Required)
We are looking for serious, dependable professionals. To qualify for our lease-on carrier, you must meet the following:
- Experience: At least 3 years of CDL-A experience under a DOT-certified carrier with articulated vehicles in the last 5 years.
- Specialized Experience: Minimum 1 year of Pneumatic Tanker experience required.
- Endorsements: Must have a valid Tanker endorsement.
- Age: Must be 25 years of age or older.
- Clean Record: * No alcohol or drug convictions (DUI/DWI).
- No positive drug/alcohol tests under DOT guidelines in the last 7 years.
- No drug or violence-related felonies.
- No more than 3 moving violations on your MVR.
- Physicality: Must be able to pass a DOT physical and be willing to be clean-shaven for safety fit-tests.
