TransForce is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to support regional operations based in Independence, OH. This is a direct hire opportunity.

CDL A Flatbed Driver Details 
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8 AM start time.
  • Pay:  $29 per hour or .80 cpm
  • Route Type: Regional, layovers involved
  • Freight / Load Type: General Cargo
  • Equipment: Automatic trucks, 48' Flatbed
  • Handling:  strapping and tarping
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:  
  • License: CDL A 
  • Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience. At least 1 year must be flatbed experience. 
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:  
  • Safely operate class A vehicles on local routes 
  • Transport medical equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
  • Perform required handling tasks including offloading with electric pallet jack.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
