Job Description:Compensation: $21.50 an hour - paid bi-weekly
Available Shift: Nights 6pm to 6am
Position Summary:
The Truck/Yard Driver has the responsibility of safely moving trailers between all Chattanooga facilities. This position will work directly with various departments; including the Production and Warehouses. Also, have the ability to make decisions and adapt to a changing work environment. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain a high safety environment, at all times, while performing daily task
- Accountable to secure each trailer by use of wheel chocks
- Maintain tractor fuel and def. fluid, as require.
- Confirm each load has proper documentation, prior to leaving the facility.
- Ensure empty trailers are deposited at all facilities for various process
Including, empties, pallets, pool trailers, etc.
- Responsible to complete and retain trailer/tractor sheet along with housekeeping duties, according to WNA policy.
- Instructions/tasks as directed by direct Warehouse Supervisor and/or Distribution Manager.
Marginal Functions:
- Load/unload trailers of product safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklift, as needed.
- Fill in during periods of absents by coworkers for continued driver coverage.
- Assist in training and develop of new employees
Candidate Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Valid CDL and all additional requirements required by WNA.
- Must have ZERO traffic violation, including but not limited to, DWI/DUI, reckless driving, etc., is required.
- 5 years of driving /shuttle experience delivering to multiple facilities, is required.
- 2 years of documentation such as; driver log / safety log experience, is required.
- Logistics, operations and/or industrial experience, is preferred.
