C++ Developer - Remote
Primary Location: Remote

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a C++ Developer - Remote for our premier client.

Education and Experience »
Must Haves:
  • Strong C++ development skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain C++ application code.
  • Proficiency in C++ 11 standard.
  • Experience developing and deploying on Linux.
  • Ability to develop and maintain unit tests in gtest.
  • Familiarity with network communication protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify communication problems.

Nice to Haves:
  • Familiarity with DNP3.
  • Familiarity with Google Protocol Buffers.
  • Familiarity with Apache Avro.
  • Familiarity with asynchronous messaging (Kafka preferred).
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (Cassandra preferred).

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
  • The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining C++ application code, ensuring adherence to the C++ 11 standard, and deploying applications on Linux.
  • Additionally, the candidate will develop and maintain unit tests using gtest and troubleshoot communication problems within the system.
