Cath Lab Technician Pay Rate: $60-$70 per hour
Cath Lab Technician HOURS: 4 day / 9.5 hour shift - 7AM-5PM
Position Summary:
Primary functions of the Registered Nurse are to administer skilled nursing care for clients of all ages in their place of residence, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/family and referring agency and assume the responsibility for coordination of care.
Cath Lab Technician Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI (STEMI) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc.
- Able to monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data.
- Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure.
- Assess and manage access site, and inform physician.
- Adhere to On call protocol for Cath lab.
- Prepare patient for procedures.
Cath Lab Technician Requirements
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
- RCIS certification preferred.
- BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required.
- Cardiac Cath lab experience required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
