Description: Our client is currently seeking a Cath Lab Technician in Cypress, TX!
Full-time, Permanent Position
Summary: The Cath Lab Technician / Special Procedures Tech plays a key role in supporting physicians during both diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures. This position requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work collaboratively within a high‑performing team, and proficiency in all aspects of Cardiac Cath Lab operations with minimal supervision.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Operate imaging and monitoring equipment in accordance with established protocols.
Prepare and maintain sterile fields and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Monitor patient status and document procedural details accurately.
Support emergency response efforts within the Cath Lab environment.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of Cath Lab procedures with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & Requirements:
ARRT‑CV or RCIS credential
MRT or RCIS credential
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program
