POSITION SUMMARY
The Catering Sales & Operations Manager is responsible for independently generating catering revenue while overseeing the full operational execution of all off-site catering events across Don Julio Restaurant Group locations.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring direct sales, contract execution, inventory oversight, logistics coordination, invoicing, and cross-location communication.
Candidates must have prior experience personally selling and executing off-site catering events. This is not a training position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Revenue Generation & Business Development
• Prospect and secure new corporate and social catering accounts
• Build and maintain strong community and business relationships
• Attend networking events and represent the Don Julio brand
• Prepare proposals, execute contracts, and secure deposits
• Follow up on leads and maintain a consistent sales pipeline
• Meet established catering revenue goals


Contracting & Financial Oversight
• Draft and execute catering agreements
• Manage invoicing, deposits, and final payments
• Coordinate billing between multiple restaurant locations when applicable
• Ensure accuracy in pricing, labor costs, and profitability

Event Coordination & Execution
• Oversee logistics for all off-site catering events
• Coordinate production timelines with kitchen leadership at all locations
• Schedule and supervise catering staff
• Manage setup, transportation, breakdown, and on-site service standards
• Safely operate and manage the company catering truck

Inventory & Asset Management
• Monitor catering inventory, equipment, and supplies
• Coordinate product transfers between restaurant locations when necessary
• Ensure catering equipment is maintained, tracked, and properly stored

Compliance & Brand Representation
• Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and pricing structure
• Represent Don Julio Restaurant Group professionally at all events


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 3 years of direct catering sales and execution experience
• Proven track record of personally generating catering revenue
• Experience drafting and executing catering contracts
• Experience managing off-site catering logistics
• Experience overseeing catering inventory and equipment
• Ability to independently manage multi-location coordination
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred to support diverse guest and team communication
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Must be insurable under company auto insurance policy


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base Salary: Starting at $50,000 annually
