Work with the Mechanical/Electrical Engineers, Millwrights, Electricians, Shift Supervisors, and Operators to drive the Casting production goals. Focus will be on safety and assisting operations as needed to ensure uptime and reliability.
Responsibilities:- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Work with maintenance and SMS/SDI operational groups to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Inspect electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work within a team environment.
- Operating mobile equipment, troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC electrical systems and components, fluid power systems, mechanical power transmission systems, water systems, pneumatic systems, material handling systems, etc.
Required:
- An excellent safety and attendance record.
- Previous electrical maintenance experience. Mechanical maintenance experience a plus.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components and systems, as well as read blueprints.
- Basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and water systems.
