Job Summary
Performs cashier duties, takes phone orders, restocks shelves, create balloon bouquets and wrap packages.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:
Professional Requirements:
- Records all transactions and handles all paperwork being processed to the accounting department.
- Performs inventory counts, restocks shelves, unpacks shipments, makes deliveries and prepares orders for shipment.
- Conducts over the counter sales of merchandise.
- Assists manager in general housekeeping and maintenance of stockroom.
- Responsible for balancing cash register at the end of shift and reporting any shortages immediately.
- Maintains store operations in the absence of the manager.
- Takes phone orders from customers.
- Writes legibly.
- Channels communications to appropriate personnel.
- Education/Regulatory Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Language Skills:
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Skills:
- Moderate to advanced computer and data entry skills.
