About the Role

As a Guest Service Associate (Cashier), you will be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer enjoys a seamless and positive shopping experience. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately process transactions while upholding our commitment to exceptional service, active selling, and maintaining an organized and appealing store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service, warmly greeting and assisting every guest, and maintaining a friendly and engaging service environment.

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems, ensuring precise handling of cash, credit, and other payment methods.

• Actively engage with customers to drive sales, promote merchandise, and share product knowledge and current promotions.

• Contribute to the visual merchandising and presentation of the store, assisting with floor moves, display maintenance, and ensuring a clean and organized selling floor.

• Support inventory management by assisting with merchandise processing, replenishment, stock monitoring, and ensuring timely re-wraps.

• Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, including those related to loss prevention, pricing integrity, and operational standards.

• Communicate customer feedback and requests effectively to management to enhance the overall shopping experience.

• Perform general store housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and inviting retail space.

• Assist with other operational tasks as directed by store management to support team objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Proven ability to accurately handle cash and process various payment types.

• Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service in a retail environment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and reaching.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• One to two years of prior experience in a retail cashier or customer-facing role.

• Basic proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and retail technology.

• A passion for our products and commitment to continuous learning about new merchandise.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
