Performs Preventive maintenance, repair and construction service to a variety of building and furnishings components.
Responsibilities
Inspect, hang, and adjust doors and swings. Repairs door locks and door hardware including locksets, panic devices,sweeps,astragels,and hinges. Repair auto door .
Install and repair casework, shelving, and furniture of various types.
Remove, construct, and repair walls, ceilings.
Assists other staff with maintenance and cosntruction projects as directed
Maintain and repair shop equipment as required
Perform preventive maintenance on misc equipment and doors/ hardware
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 4 years Perferred
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
1. 4 years of carpentry experience. Ability to work from drawings. Working knowledge of cabinetry construction and laminates. Working knowledge of door hardware and locking devices. Ability to read blueprints.
2. Accreditied apprentiship program preferred.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
Works weekends, shifts and holidays as required
