Position Overview

The Carpenter Helper supports Carpenters and Lead Carpenters across remodeling and handyman projects.

This role is essential to keeping jobsites organized, productive, and professional. You will assist with hands-on construction tasks while learning the skills required to advance within the company.

(With opportunities to move into specialized service or leadership roles as the company grows.)

Starting Pay

$18–$20 per hour
Based on reliability, attitude, and experience

What You’ll Do

• Assist with demolition, framing, installation, and finish work

• Support handyman and small project tasks

• Maintain clean and organized jobsites

• Load and unload materials

• Set up tools and equipment

• Learn professional construction and service standards

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Valid driver’s license

• Reliable transportation

• Must be eligible to access Grand Forks Air Force Base (ability to pass required background screening)

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs

• Strong attendance and punctuality

• Professional attitude and respect for clients’ homes

Construction experience is helpful but not required — we will train the right person.
