Caregiver / Resident Care Assistant

We are currently seeking a positive, dependable, and caring Caregiver (Resident Care Assistant) to join our team.

Job Type: Begins as Part-Time
Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Position Overview

As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, safety, and meaningful engagement. You will help create a warm, homelike environment where residents feel valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): dressing, hygiene, bathing, toileting, eating, mobility, and more

• Support instrumental ADLs: housekeeping, laundry, personal belongings, and telephone use

• Monitor resident safety and overall well-being

• Document important health and behavioral observations

• Participate in life enrichment activities alongside residents and Life Enrichment staff

• Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers

• Complete light administrative and supply-related tasks

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar care settings

• Experience working with individuals with dementia or older adults

• Knowledge of healthcare practices
