CareOne Senior Care is currently seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver for a part-time client in the Shelby Township area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent, daytime hours with a supportive client environment.

Schedule

• Mondays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Fridays: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM / 4:00 PM
• Steady, part-time hours (2 days per week)

Client Overview

• Requires medication reminders and meal preparation
• Needs mobility assistance (walker and wheelchair for safety)
• Light housekeeping support
• Client is independent with dressing
• Family (husband and son) are in and out of the home
• Must be comfortable around dogs (2 in the home)

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Provide mobility support and ensure client safety
• Offer medication reminders
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
• Support client independence while being attentive to needs

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and assist with mobility
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
• Reliable transportation and mobile phone
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Must pass a background check
• TB test required (can be completed after interview)
• Must be comfortable working in a home with dogs

Pay & Benefits

• $14–$17 per hour (up to $20/hour for specialty cases)
• $150 referral bonus (no limit)
• Next-day pay option available
