Caregiver needed in Olympia

We are seeking a caregiver to assist us with clients in the Olympia area. Client has stated that a male caregiver is preferred, but we are happy to interview anyone who applies. The client needs vary, but we anticipate between 4 and 40 hours/week.

Clients are specifically looking for assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, wellness observation, companionship, and meal preparation.

We are looking to begin care as early as March 23rd

Required Credentials:

• HCA or CNA
• CPR certificate
• Food handler permit
• Valid driver's license or state ID

Skills Needed:

• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance
• High school diploma or equivalent

General Client Needs (Varies from client to client):

• Household Care (laundry, meal prep, mopping)
• Personal Care (bathing/toileting assistance, dressing, shaving)
• Wellness (companionship, conversation, stand by assist)
