Schedule: Full-time | M-F 9am–5pm (occasional evenings/weekends)

Position Summary:

Vita Nova is seeking a compassionate and motivated Career Coach to support young adults (ages 18–24) by providing career planning, life skills development, and job readiness training. In this role, you will work at the Spot drop-in center and in the community to guide young adults toward education, employment, and stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop individualized career plans and deliver job readiness training
• Provide supportive case management and life skills coaching
• Connect youth to employment, education, and support services
• Facilitate group workshops and partner with employers and agencies
• Track progress and outcomes using HMIS and internal systems
• Participate in rotating coverage of the Spot room & access to essential services
• Assist with youth engagement activities at the Spot drop-in center

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field preferred
• 1+ year experience working with youth or young adults preferred
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and positive youth development
• Understanding of PBC homelessness system a plus
• Strong documentation and client engagement skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Valid FL driver's license and reliable transportation required
