Care Management Associate Highlights
• The pay for this position is $18.34 per hour .
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Mandatory training: one Saturday in April and one Saturday in May, dates TBD)
• Primarily Remote position (Onsite 1st day and as needed)
• This position is a Contract role.

Onsite & Location Requirements
• Must be local to Arizona
• Onsite 1st day
• Occasional onsite attendance based on business needs
• Must be able to hardwire into home internet

Safety-Sensitive Role
• Requires high attention to detail and strict adherence to processes

Responsibilities
• Support clinical nurses in office and field settings
• Interact with external providers and deliver professional customer service
• Promote and support quality administration of healthcare services
• Process intake of services via electronic fax system
• Research member eligibility prior to creating authorizations
• Create authorizations in database and fax authorization numbers to providers
• Coordinate admissions and appropriate discharge dates with hospitals
• Request medical records for admissions as needed
• Protect confidentiality of member information and adhere to company policies
• Navigate multiple internal and external systems accurately

Requirements
• 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare support role (medical assistant, office assistant, authorization intake, etc.)
• Strong customer service and provider coordination skills
• Experience researching eligibility and/or creating authorizations preferred
• Proficiency navigating multiple systems (databases, e-fax platforms, eligibility tools)
• Basic medical terminology and understanding of care management workflows
• Strong communication (telephonic and written) and organizational skills
• Typing speed of 45+ WPM with minimum 6500 alphanumeric score (WPM screenshot required)
• High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) required
• Must be comfortable receiving feedback and working in a team environment
