Travel and lodging accommodations are provided for locum tenens clinicians. The hospital maintains standard surgical equipment and support systems for cardiothoracic procedures.

The physician associate will provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage in both operating room and emergency room settings, working day shifts and 24-hour shifts with rounds beginning at 0700. The position requires continuous 24-hour on-call availability from 7 AM to 7 AM, including weeknight call every night and weekend call responsibilities. The clinician will handle an average of 1 case per day and must maintain prescriptive authority. Travel and lodging expenses are covered by the facility.
