The role requires extensive operating room experience with open heart surgeries, vascular surgeries, and thoracic surgeries. Board certification and prescriptive authority are mandatory requirements. The position involves day shift coverage with call responsibilities requiring 7-10 days of call per month across inpatient, clinic, and operating room settings.
