Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant

NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island is seeking a highly skilled, full-time cardiothoracic surgery physician assistant (PA) to join our expanding surgical team. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of five years of specialized experience, demonstrating mastery in first assisting for a wide array of cardiac surgical procedures and a high level of proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH).

While experience in radial artery harvesting is preferred, our team is committed to professional development and is prepared to provide comprehensive training in endoscopic radial artery harvesting for the right candidate. We offer a highly competitive compensation structure, which includes three-quarter call-pay and eligibility for an annual competency-based bonus recognizing expertise in both endoscopic vein and radial harvesting.

Position Requirements & Responsibilities:

? Minimum of 5 years of CT surgery experience

? Demonstrate expertise in endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting in a wide array of cardiac surgery procedures.

? Radial artery harvest experience preferred. Willing to train in endoscopic radial artery harvesting.

? NCCPA-certified

Compensation:

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The starting salary range for the role is $162,578 to $185,078. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.
