Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Capital Research Analysts to provide high-quality, actionable research and opportunity intelligence that supports fund managers, investors, and operators.

This is not an employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Capital Research Analysts:

• Conduct thorough research and due diligence on potential investment opportunities

• Summarize and present opportunities with structured analysis (market, sector, asset, or company-level)

• Provide early-stage insights that support deal evaluation and investment decisions

• Collaborate with analysts, scouts, and investors to streamline opportunity assessment

• Earn transaction-based compensation for deals influenced or closed through their research contributions

This role is ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills, research experience, or sector expertise who want to monetize intellectual contribution and deal intelligence.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Capital Research Analysts may:

• Conduct market, sector, and competitive research to identify potential opportunities

• Analyze company or asset performance, financials, and strategic positioning

• Provide structured opportunity summaries and investment memos

• Highlight key risks, growth drivers, and valuation considerations

• Collaborate with sourcing professionals and underwriting analysts on diligence handoff

• Track and maintain a verified research and opportunity contribution record

Capital Research Analysts are not responsible for capital raising, underwriting, or deal structuring unless approved for those functions.

Eligible Opportunity Types

Based on approval and experience, Capital Research Analysts may focus on:

• Commercial real estate (multifamily, industrial, retail, mixed-use)

• Private equity and growth equity targets

• Operating businesses and special situations

• Structured, opportunistic, or niche investments

Research categories are approved based on professional background, sector expertise, and demonstrated analytical credibility.

Compensation & Economics

• Analysts earn success-based compensation tied to the transactions influenced by their research

• Typical earnings range from $1,000 to $10,000+ per transaction

• Compensation is paid upon successful transaction close and fee collection

• Exact economics vary by transaction size, complexity, and research impact

• No caps on earnings for consistent high-quality research and opportunity contribution

1. Submit a Capital Research Analyst application and background details

2. Complete verification and research category approval

3. Get activated on the Initio Sphere platform

4. Begin submitting structured research, opportunity intelligence, and analysis to the network

There is no blind pitching or unpaid work. Approved research and intelligence are introduced through curated, platform-driven channels.
