DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

• Job Title: Capital Field Buyer
• Location: Southeast Houston
• Pay: $42-$48/hr.
• Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm M-F
• Duration: temp-to-hire
• Description of Duties: Working as the on-site procurement partner for capital projects ranging from $600K-$5MM. Utilize field-based purchasing skills with advanced analytical skills to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement to support project execution. Leverage Excel and data analysis skills to identify trends, anticipate needs and make decisions that drive savings and efficiency. Manage full requisition cycle, and work as liaison between procurement team and field execution teams.
• Requirements: 5+ years experience in procurement, field buying, or material coordination for industrial capital projects; Strong knowledge of project materials / services such as piping, valves, steel, instrumentation, rentals, etc.; Advanced Excel skills; Proven ability to generate savings through sourcing, negotiations, and scheduling efficiencies; Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment; High School Diploma or GED; Experience in chemical, petrochemical or heavy industrial industries preferred
