Are you a hands-on calibration professional who loves precision and process improvement? We’re looking for a Mechanical Calibration Lead Technician to oversee all mechanical calibration activities, both in-lab and on-site, ensuring our equipment meets the highest regulatory and customer standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform and coordinate mechanical calibrations using tools like calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, and CMMs.
  • Write and maintain calibration procedures using Fluke Editor and manage calibration records in Fluke MET/CAL, MET/TEAM, and internal systems.
  • Handle internal and external calibrations, including vendor management and ensuring timely, accurate results.
  • Generate monthly reports on calibration status, overdue instruments, and performance metrics using Crystal Reports and Excel.
  • Support customers, engineering teams, and auditors with calibration data, procedures, and compliance documentation.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Create and manage purchase orders in JDE (or similar ERP) for calibration tools and services.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of mechanical calibration or metrology experience. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Metrology, Electronics, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical measurement methods and hands-on experience with test equipment (calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, gauges, CMMs, and more).
  • Proficient with Fluke MET/CAL, MET/TEAM, Fluke Editor, MS Excel, Word, and Crystal Reports.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as JDE for purchase orders.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Certifications:

  • ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT)
  • ISO 17025 Internal Auditor Training
  • OSHA 10/30 Certification

If you enjoy precision, process ownership, and working with a team that values quality and accuracy, we’d love to hear from you!
