About Us
Scientific Safety Alliance (SSA) exists to Accelerate Science. Delightfully. SSA is growing at an exceptional rate and is rapidly rising on Inc. Magazine's 2024 and 2025 list of fastest-growing privately held companies. How fast? In a little over 2.5 years, we have acquired 19 companies and our growth is only accelerating.

What makes SSA special? SSA is a 100% founder- and employee-owned company. Every team member has a stake in the outcome, and everyone's performance directly impacts the value of their ownership. We have grown from a handful of regional teams into one of the fastest-growing companies in the United States through a network of specialized local service companies.

We serve the life sciences and biotech industries, including pharmaceutical, biotech, hospital, and research facilities that rely on us to keep their controlled environments compliant, precise, and ready for critical discovery and innovation. Our mission is simple: remove the friction so our customers can focus on advancing science.

The Opportunity: Calibration Process Manager (Biotech/Life Sciences)

Our professional technicians support Healthcare Technology Management (HTM), Clinical Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering departments across many of the most prestigious healthcare systems, as well as biotech and life sciences organizations, throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, and Midwest.

Our clients trust us to verify the accuracy of precise test instrumentation and tools used to ensure the integrity of critical medical devices, laboratory equipment, and biotech processes that support research, development, and patient care.

We intend to grow by retaining and gaining market share. This position, therefore, offers considerable growth potential and requires an enthusiastic learner with a strong combination of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and business acumen.

The position is based in State College, PA and requires approximately 75% overnight travel during weekdays only.

The primary responsibility of the Calibration Process Manager will be to build strong relationships with customers ranging from technicians to executive-level professionals within healthcare and biotech environments.
