  • Proficiency Testing: Participate in Inter-Laboratory Comparisons (ILC) and Proficiency Testing (PT) programs to validate the laboratory's technical competence.

  • Non-Conformance & CAPA: Identify laboratory non-conformances, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

  • Traceability & Asset Management: Maintain an unbroken chain of traceability to the International System of Units (SI) through NIST or other recognized National Metrology Institutes.

  • Decision Rules: Apply and communicate "Decision Rules" regarding statements of conformity (Pass/Fail) based on Test Uncertainty Ratios (TUR) and Guard Banding.

  • Environmental Control: Monitor and record environmental conditions to ensure they do not adversely affect the quality of measurements or result in out-of-tolerance conditions.

  • Work Conditions: Willingness to work off-shifts and occasionally lift heavy equipment.
