Mechanical Assembler Summary
Our manufacturing company is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to work on our machine assembly line. In this position, you will work closely with other assemblers to connect components and construct our mechanical products. You must be able to read blueprints, know how to use a variety of hand and power tools, and be able to stand for extended periods. We prefer candidates who have mechanical assembly experience, but we are willing to train the right person.
Mechanical Assembler Duties and Responsibilities
- Read the schematics for your machine component.
- Assemble your component.
- Work with other assemblers to create a final product.
- Test and inspect components for uniformity and quality.
- Log your productivity.
Mechanical Assembler Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience working with large machinery.
- Familiarity with standard power and hand tools
- Able to read blueprints.
