Cable Assembler I

Pay Rate: $20.00 HR
Your day-to-day work may include, but is not limited to:
Performs assembly duties in accordance with drawings, travellers and manufacturing procedures.
Operates shop hand tools, microscope, solder irons and ultra sonic cleaner.
Uses spooling equipment to measure and cut wire.
Uses test meters to check quality of the assembled cables and connectors.
Operates label machines in accordance with operators manual.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Assists other assemblers as needed, in order to meet shipping demands.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Professional Qualifications
1-5 years experience in assembly.
Ability to read and understand assembly drawings.
Basic schematic reading and ability to trouble shoot cable assemblies.
Basic reading, writing and shop math skills
Experience soldering miniature parts under a microscope
Use of simple hand tools such as crimpers and ovens
IPC 610 A certification a plus
Good hand and eye dexterity
Good communication skills
Must be a local candidate
