Business Systems Analyst IV (UAT/SIT Focus)

CTG is seeking a senior Business Systems Analyst IV with deep experience in SIT/UAT testing, test script development, and cross-functional communication to support complex commercial banking initiatives.
Location: Buffalo, NY or Pittsburgh, PA – onsite required
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Role Overview
This role is heavily focused on test script development, SIT/UAT coordination, and requirements validation. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail and can clearly articulate the business purpose behind testing scenarios while partnering effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Experience within commercial banking and loan servicing platforms is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Lead SIT and UAT planning, coordination, and execution across multiple systems and stakeholders
Write detailed, high-quality test scripts and test cases, ensuring full traceability to business requirements
Clearly explain the “why” behind test scenarios, bridging business intent and technical execution
Partner with business teams to gather, refine, and document requirements
Translate business needs into functional specs and actionable test scenarios
Manage defect tracking, triage, and resolution throughout testing cycles
Ensure alignment between business expectations and system functionality
Act as a functional lead, guiding testing efforts and supporting project delivery
Support project timelines, scope, and post-implementation activities
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with a strong focus on SIT/UAT testing
Proven experience writing detailed test scripts and test cases (not just coordinating testing)
Strong ability to communicate across business and technical teams, including explaining testing rationale
Experience managing testing across multiple applications and integrated systems
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in commercial banking environments (highly preferred)
Experience with loan servicing platforms such as AFSVision or LoanIQ
Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or multi-project environments
Familiarity with system integrations, conversions, or application frameworks
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
