Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst who is as comfortable in the field as they are in a database. This role is the critical bridge between legacy operational workflows and our modern Asset Management application, specifically tailored for the Utilities, Public Works, and Municipalities sectors.
You will guide stakeholders through the digital transformation of critical infrastructure management. - Deep-Dive Workflow Documentation: Produce high-fidelity process maps and "As-Is vs. To-Be" documentation. You must visualize complex asset lifecycles—from procurement and work order management to depreciation and GIS integration.
- Data Migration & SQL Integration: Analyze legacy data sets (primarily Excel/CSV) to identify gaps and mapping requirements. You will lead the migration into SQL databases, ensuring data normalization and referential integrity for critical infrastructure records.
- Agile Configuration: Use an Agile mindset to iteratively configure the application (custom fields, automated triggers, and mobile workflows) based on sprint priorities and user feedback.
- Validation & UAT: Partner with municipal stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing to ensure that migrated data and system configurations meet the high-stakes requirements of public service operations.

- Core Competencies:
- The "Translator" Ability: You can speak "technical" to developers and "operational" to a Public Works Director , Asset Manager, a Field worker without losing anything in translation.
